Terms & Conditions

Stay & Play Sessions

By booking a session and entering our premises, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

​

Rules of play:

Supernova Stay & Play does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children within the premises, therefore all children must be supervised by a responsible adult/guardian (aged 18+) at all times.

​

Shoes are to be removed before entering any areas and socks must be worn by children/adults at all times.

​

No food, drinks or chewing gum should be taken into the play areas.

​

Please use the designated pram park by the entrance for all prams/ buggies.

​

Play is restricted to a 90 minute allocated play session with the last 5 minutes at the end used for getting your belongings together to promptly leave the premises so we can clean and reset ready for the next session.

​

Customers who are unwell must not visit the play centre for 48 hours (or until no longer contagious in the case of chickenpox, hand foot and mouth, covid 19 and other such infections), to prevent the spread of infection. We can transfer your session to a date of your choice if a minimum of 24 hours is given.

​

Fighting, bullying and abusive language will not be tolerated. Guilty parties may be asked to leave without a refund.

​

For health and safety reasons, in the unlikely event of an accident or injury occurring, please immediately report it to a member of staff.

​

Upon leaving the building please ensure that any property belonging to Supernova Stay & Play is left behind.

​

Supernova Stay & Play cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property during your visit.

​

Sessions are non-refundable. 24 hours' notice is required for session transfers.

​

Smoking is not permitted on the site, including the use of e-cigarettes.

​

No pets or animals are permitted except for assistance animals.

​

Sessions & transfers:

The session price includes admission for one 90-minute session at Supernova Stay & Play.

​

Spaces are limited for each session and only those with a valid booking will be allowed entry into the building.

​

Upon reserving the session online, an email confirmation will be received along with a booking order number which acts as proof of purchase. Please ensure you have this when you arrive at Supernova Stay & Play.

​

If you (the customer) pre-books a session and you do not allocate/book a space for all the children in your party attending, Supernova Stay & Play reserves the right to refuse entry if the maximum capacity has been reached on that session. A refund will not be given and only those booked will be permitted entry.

​

All children aged 5 years and under must pay admission to enter Supernova Stay & Play with the exception of babies in arms (not using equipment) who are free when accompanying a paying sibling.

​

A maximum of 2 adults can attend for each session booked. 

​

Supernova Stay & Play is designed for children from birth to 5 years old. However, children older than this may attend & help their younger siblings in the play areas, as long as they are mindful of other children.

​

Where sessions are purchased on behalf of others, the buyer accepts responsibility for notifying all those in their party of Supernova Stay & Play’s terms and conditions.

​

All Supernova Stay & Play’s sessions are non-refundable.

​

Customers who have made online reservations or booked over the phone are given priority entry. Entry without a reservation cannot be guaranteed.

​

Transfers for reserved sessions can be requested with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice to the start time of the reserved session. The only exception to this notice period will be if the child or household member has tested positive for Covid or are self-isolating. There may be other, exceptional circumstances where the notice period for a play session date/time transfer can be waivered, but this is strictly at the manager’s discretion.

Session costs are subject to change and the booking system will always be updated to reflect this.

​

It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the session date and time on your email confirmation. Mistakes cannot always be rectified and entry will only be permitted for the number of sessions stated on the confirmation.

​

Session Times & Closures:

Supernova Stay & Play operates set play sessions as follows; 9:30am – 11am, 11:30am – 1pm, 1:30pm – 3pm.

​

Please arrive on time for your session, but no longer than 5 minutes before as we cannot permit entry before the session start time.

​

Unfortunately, those arriving late will not be able to extend their session and you will be required to leave at the end of that session even if you have not been there for the full time. Refunds and transfers will not be given if you miss your session or part of it.

​

Between the sessions, staff will tidy, clean and reset the venue ready for the next session. You must vacate the play centre as soon as the session ends to allow for this period of cleaning to be undertaken.

​

Supernova Stay & Play reserve the right to close the whole or part of the play centre at any time if deemed necessary for the security and safety of guests and staff. In these instances, your session will be transferred to another date and time, at your convenience.

​

Recordings:

We allow photographs to be taken by customers of their children.  We ask that all visitors to Supernova Stay & Play are careful to avoid taking pictures of other children.

​

Supernova Stay & Play cannot be held responsible for any images posted on to a public website without prior permission from the persons in the photograph or their guardians.

​

Supernova Stay & Play will never share still images of visitors and their children on our website or social media pages without prior agreement with those concerned.

​

Security & Safety:

CCTV is in operation at Supernova Stay & Play and is covered by our Privacy policy.

​

All personal belongings and property brought into Supernova Stay & Play by visitors is done so at the owner’s risk. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.

​

venue hire conditions of hire

1. Acceptance of the Conditions of Hire to be read and agreed prior to proceeding with your booking. By confirming your booking, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

​

2. When completing your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The rest of the payment is due 7 days before the hire.

​

3. A damage/cleaning deposit to be paid at the start of hire, the same time you sign the venue hire agreement. This will be returned to you in full at the end of your hire if the terms and conditions have been adhered to and you have left it in a suitable condition.

​

4. If there has been a breach in these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate and non-negotiable sum. If the cost of the remedy exceeds the amount of the deposit, the Hirer will be liable to pay the difference within 7 days of issue of a written demand for this sum.

​

5. Length of hire is to include time to set up and clean up after your event. Agreed times of hire to be strictly adhered to. Any extra time is charged at £10 for every 30 minutes.

​

6. The use of sticky tape, glue or nails is prohibited to avoid damage to walls and furnishings. Items must not be pinned or glued to the front or internal doors. Also no glitter/ confetti to be brought into the premises.

​

7. Supernova Stay & Play do not accept responsibility for the loss, damage or injury to persons and /or their property to whom it was let out to or hired by. The hirer shall make their own arrangements for insurance in respect of any claims which might be made for personal injury or damage incurred during the period of hire. Supernova Stay & Play’s insurance only covers its own liabilities.

​

8. The hirer shall be liable for supervision and security of the premises and its associated grounds, protection of the fabric, missing equipment and contents from damage. Also, for the behaviour of all persons using the premises including proper supervision of car parking arrangements to ensure no obstructions are caused.

​

9. The hirer is to ensure fire exits are observed and kept clear at all times. The hirer is to be aware of the buildings fire and evacuation procedures.

​

10. No equipment to be used without prior agreement including but not limited to the barista coffee machine, coffee grinder, any equipment in the staff only cupboard.

​

11. Care to be exercised in the use of all electrical appliances.

​

12. Any damage to equipment or premises must be notified to us.

​

13. If any accidents/ injuries occur during duration of hire, these must be notified to us to comply with Health & Safety.

​

14. There is a No Smoking policy including the use of e-cigarettes throughout the premises.

​

15. No animals allowed on the premises except Guide Dogs without prior permission.

​

16. At the end of hire, all areas including kitchen/ toilet facilities in Supernova Stay & Play should be left clean and tidy. Any tables/chairs/ high-chairs that have been used are to be wiped down and any crockery to be washed and dried or put into the dishwasher if empty. Play area is to be tidied to the best of your ability with toys placed in the buckets provided for each area, so we can reset it. All major furniture and equipment left in the same position as at the commencement of the hiring.

​

17. All refuse to be collected and taken away for suitable disposal in the bin liner provided.
